T.A.Wingfield

student, poet, experimental writer and book lover.

Me...

“Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly.”
  ~ The Dalai Lama

  My name's T.A.Wingfield*,
and I'm doing a BA in Creative Writing with Journalism
  at De Montfort University.

I am a writer, looking to make a dent on the pretty face of publishing.

I've been published in Street Cake Magazine (Issues 17 and 19)
  and The Demon (2010 issue)
  and The Delinquent (issue 15)
and Pea Green Boat (Issue 4)
but my main presence is on Scribd.com/tawingfield
where I publish everything I write
and have collected over 180,000 views.

My writing's often quite experimental in form, focusing on ergodic, multimodal and visual stylistics.
But whilst I'm determined to push the boundaries of form and language,
I base my writing around simple concepts -
and I try my best to avoid pretentiousness.

Ultimately I believe that in this visual age of 3D films and virtual bubblewrap apps,
books should be allowed a bit of fun.

I'm eager to work alongside other writers, artists and creative professionals
who are interested in producing innovative and ambitious projects.

I'm very friendly and always up for a chat,
so use the contact page if you want to learn more about me,
  my writing,
  my views
  or my lunch.
